International Student’s Opening Ceremony in Fall Semester 2019

On Nov 7th, LNCU International Students’ Opening Ceremony in fall semester 2019 was held in Zhicun Building. Vice President Xu Ying, Executive Deputy Dean of International Education College Xu Danwei, attended the ceremony and all faculty of international education college attended the ceremony.

First of all, Vice-President Xu Ying expressed warm welcome to 240 new international students from 38 countries around the world. She pointed out that the university is a place to comprehensively improve its overall quality and ability, and it is a place to learn how to think and create. She also encouraged students to adhere to the spirit of LNCU to strive for a better self.

Subsequently, new student representative WALIZADA YASIR and students’ representative CHUNDUSU TONGKON JOSHUA gave speeches respectively. They expressed their gratitude to university and teachers for their warm welcome. They said, “China has become the center and focus of the world's attention, we are very fortunate to study here”. 


As a teachers’ representative, Ms. Hao Bing addressed a speech. She said that she would adhere to the concept of moral education and cultivate international students into these who are known of China, friendly to China and love China.



In addition, teachers issued certificates to the outstanding members of Chinese and Foreign Students Exchange Association and excellent international students. We believe they will take the ceremony as an opportunity to study hard and build a bridge for cultural exchanges.
